Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague-Waterfront

The hotel was very clean. Our room had a nice view and was big enough for our family of four. The hotel is close to a lot of area attractions like the Robert Reed park (that houses the famous LOVE Chairs that you will see in many photographs) and the Island Theater (the only movie theater in the area, as we were told) and shops like Amarin Coffee and Don's Seafood Market. The pool was small, but good enough for recreational swimming and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub (whose water was really hot) next to the pool. The breakfast was great for a hotel of this price range and the staff were very friendly. I would happily stay there again if we visit the area in future.

This is our spot when visiting the area. Absolutely lovely! Clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful seating areas inside and out. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. This particular location's breakfast bar is the best we've experienced! Good selection. Very nice presentation. Clean! The pleasant staff watches over the area and restocks right away when items run low. Highly recommend!!

This Hampton is one of the highest rated and I can see why! It is immaculate, every detail perfect! Super clean rooms, very friendly staff, and the breakfast is the best ever! Very well attended and super clean. A good size pool too. This hotel has very high standards and made for a very comfortable stay. I am happy we stayed here. Balcony room views are scenic! A short drive to Assateague National Seashore Overall we had a great experience here and recommend staying at this hotel.

The location, the service, the staff, the clean rooms. They should NEVER GO UNNOTICED. This was our 4th year at the same hotel, and the 3rd year we were there the same time with other couples that we see at the same time. The staff might be the most attentive staff we have ever had. The rooms had fresh towels daily. The breakfast buffet was fresh and warm. I cannot say enough about this Hotel

The room location wasn't great. Our room, Room 109 was right next to the main area where they served breakfast. I feel like I wasted my money paying for a waterfront room because due to the location right next to the common area, there was zero privacy as the main area balcony directly faced ours! When people sat out there, they directly faced our balcony so we couldn't walk out on our balcony because we would be face to face with strangers. I didn't expect complete privacy, but I also didn't expect to be three feet away from strangers. People sat out there until midnight talking so there was a lot of noise. At night there was a huge spotlight facing the balcony so in addition to people being 3 feet away, there was a huge light shining directly in our room. When I mentioned all of this to reception, their response was "you should have booked a higher floor."....I understand that they may not have been able to change my room but maybe they could have been more helpful? I used my Chase Sapphire rewards points for this room and I sincerely wish I could have those points back. Everything else was good, but I do not recommend staying here unless you know the room location.
